A delightful and unique cocktail that combines the nutty flavor of quinoa with the freshness of cucumber, the herbal notes of basil, and the kick of gin. Perfect for a summer day or a festive gathering.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup quinoa, rinsed and cooked
- 2 cups cucumber, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup gin
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 cups sparkling water
- Ice cubes
- Cucumber slices and basil leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Put cooked quinoa, diced cucumber, basil leaves, gin, honey, and lime juice in a blender
Mix until it's smooth
Pour the mixture through a strainer into a pitcher to get rid of any solids
Pour sparkling water into the pitcher and mix it well
Throw ice cubes into glasses and then pour the quinoa mix over the ice
Add basil leaves and slices of cucumber as a garnish
